-OVERVIEW-

About:
I'll use this section to post neat things I've seen or done as an electrical engineer related to my job.

3/24/2012: Electrical Engineer
Found this on the internet, yup, that's how we do it!

2/23/2012: Burned up power injector
This is what happens when you introduce a power injector into the radio circuit with out the load (the signal amplifier). It explodes!

1/5/2012: Radio Test Assembly
When we have to do a radio signal integrity survey (RSI) out in the field, normally we just carry one of these radios, a pole with an antenna strapped to it, and a laptop to see the reading. Well I came up with these assemblies to make things a lot easier. It has an amplifier, dual power supply, and power switches making it much easier to cary everythng around when conducting the survey.
