Summary:
Using a Neon Light Transformer to make a primative Jacobs Ladder.
-OVERVIEW-

Jacobs Ladder V1.0
I got this transformer from a friend who was given several of these. He knew I liked fooling around with electronics and electricity, so he gave me one. There's not a lot I could do with a high voltage Transformer, so I made something cool out of it, a Jacobs Ladder! With 300mA at 12kV, I was able to draw the arc out to 3 inches over a travel length of about 4 feet.

Jacobs Ladder V2.0
Using the same transformer as before, I thought I'd try making a nicer, more solid version of a jacobs ladder. This version is much more sturdy and even travel friendly (as in it wont fall apart) for public presentation.
