I was working in my work shop one day and I was assulted by a wasp who broke in through my window, I had no choice but to swat the perpetrator. Because of the low level of battle damage (minus death) I decided to take close-ups for scientific documentation. The photos came out very nicely. You can clearly see the segmented abdomen, antennae, and legs; 3 body segments; compound eye; yup def an insect.
