Though Shane has played a limited role in the actual construction process, his involvment could not go unmentioned. Because finding free time is always an issue with Shane, hands on work often times isn't an option. He does, however, supply a machine shop for the team to utilize and a valuable insite in the areas of armorment, exterior geometry, and just plain good common sence. His specialties reside primarily in computer areas. Because of this obsession, he is attending Drexel for computer science. His joining Team Radiation was a result of the engineering a robotics team would have to offer. Infact, His early design contributions spawned from a love of anything electronic. |

I am the founder of this robotic establishment. I'v always loved taking things apart and putting them back together but in a slightly different mannor. I would always try to "soup" it up or make it do something entirely different from what it origionally did. This strange habit was more than likely the cause of my hobby in electronics. I guess the reason i took this hobby one step further and formed a team was so i could have an organized method of showing off and competing creations. I am now recieving an education from Virgia Tech and currently my major is geneal engineering. The plan is, with my electrical engineering classes i can work with and build robots. With my computer science classes, I can program what I've built. Given the size and resources that this college has to offer, team radiation should in the near future be experiencing some major break throughs. |
