Frozen Lake

For this job, I had to install an ION system and establish comms between meters at an old gun manufacturer, Sturm Ruger, in Newport New Hampshire. The actual work only took 3 days, it was stressful the first day since nothing was working, but after getting things worked out the second day, I was finally able to relax and do tons of site seeing!
I flew into Manchester / Boston Regional Airport, stayed in the little town of Sunapee, and did my work in Newport. I must say, the New England states are so beautiful, despite the snow falling almost the entire trip, the towns are small and friendly, virtually chain free, so much heritage!
After completing all the work at the work-site, I thought I'd pay another visitto Khine's sister, Pyae, since she lives around here. I drove across New Hampshire, through the southern parts of Vermont, and into the top corner of Massachusetts. Sounds like a long trip, but it only takes about 2 hours (minus all the site seeing I did along the way)
While in Williamstown, Pyae and I did even more site seeing, checked out some bowling allies (although we never actually bowled), got her a drivers permit, saw an abstract art gallery, watched some documentaries, and went out to eat a few times. It was a pretty relaxing end to the trip. After that, it was time to fly back to Nashville. Unfortunately since I've recently been assigned to the central regional team, I doubt I'll be getting back up to New England any time soon. Oh well, I've had my fun.
