BinaryBedlam: Jane and Chris Pouzou's Wedding

          One of my friends from college finally tied the knot. From Nashville it was a 9.5 hour drive but Khine and I turned it into a fun road trip, also to get there we passed through Charlottesville, the home of UVa, where Khine went to college. The wedding and reception was held at the Sweely Estate Winery in Madison, Va, a beautiful vineyard deep in the heart of VA Wine country.
     We left Tri-cities around 7 in the morning and pretty much drove non-stop. We did go to a walffle house for breakfast though. Near UVa we also stopped at a highway scenic overlook to see more leaves turning. Once at UVa, we stopped to visit one of Khine's old research advisors, stopped at the Harris Teater for good beer and local wine, then to the Barboursville Vineyard for a real quick wine tasting (we had a lot of memories there). Then it was off to the wedding. And doesn't it figure, we were late! The gps said the place is 7 miles south from where it actually is! We even asked a cop in the area if he knew where the winery was, but he said he never even heard of it! WTF!? Well we called them up and found our way. We got there just as they were exchanging their vowles, so I was still able to get at least some ceremony pics. The Reception had a buffet, open bar, and a great DJ. Khine and I got a lot of good dancing in. It was great seeing everyone again. Afterwards we found a motel in C-ville, watched the end of Titanic and went to bed.
     Sunday Morning we got up early again, went to Bodo's Bagles, and headed south. We stopped for about an hour at Virginia Tech to walk around. So many new things since I had last been there. Johnston student center got rid of the BK, now its a subway, there's a parking garage in the commuter lot, and of course several more new building are under construction. On our way back to Johnson City we drove through Bristol, so I finally got to see the speedway there.
