It was a yearly tradition to attend the Oktoberfest celebrations in Nashville, so this was one of the things we were sad about when we moved to East Tn, but luckily they have a festival here too! It's not nearly as large as the one in Nashville and there isn't quite the variety of food, but it's a whole lot better than nothing. They do have a wider variety of beer's. This particular festival has a 'Craft Bier Garten', complete with a 'Beer University' for ingredient education. To get into the craft garden you need a $30 ticket but that gets you all you can sample. We didn't actually get this because there were still a bunch of venders outside. Oh, and since so few people there dressed up, Khine and I were photographed a bunch. We should even be in a regional magazine, the 'VIP Seen'.
