For spring break this year Khine was able to break away from the drudgeries of shool and come down to Nashville to visit for a whole week! It was freaken sweet, we got to see and do so many things. Many of the things we saw, I had never even seen before and I've been living in Nashville for almost a year now.
I took her to work with me one day, so she got to see my cubicle and meet my co-workers, that was fun. We even played frisbee and ate spaghetti with a bunch of them one day during a basketball game. We went out to eat a few times, but we cooked just as much, and honestly I think we are getting better, these dishes are gaining more variety and taisting better all the time.
So we went to the Grand ole Opry, some little historic Nashville places, the Parthenon, Vanderbilt, downtown Nashville, shopping at the Green Hills mall (where my car got keyed), ate at the CheeseCake Factory to celebrate our 2nd aniversary, and even went roller blading! Great times! I even got to try my skills as a professional photographer ;-)
When it was time for her to go back, we were just wrapping up watching all the Lord of the Rings movies, so we were running a little behind. On our way to the bus station, the time was getting slimmer and slimmer, not to mention her finding out that the bus actually leaves 10 min sooner than we originally thought didnt exactly help the situation. But we made it! Not a second to spare! It was pulling out as I pulled in. Phew that was close! And just like that it was all over :-( It was a very emotional drive back to my house. My passenger seat was now empty, and I knew it would continue to be that way for another long time :'-( But all in all, it was great time, can't wait to see you again hon! a great time,
