Scratch Pizza

Went to visit Khine in Johnson city again for the weekend. On Friday, like last time I visited, was just after a big test so it was a party night, and yes, med students still party like under grads. Saturday we went to the nearby town of Gray where there is a famous fossil site. Apparently this spot has the highest concentration of fossils any where in the Eastern US, so they even built a natural museum here, pretty neat stuff! Khine's frined Nicole came along, she knows the area pretty well. Also, the day we went they were having a bonsai exhibit. There were trees on display, a speaker giving demonstrations, and even air-brush painting (using a straw).
After the museum Khine and I went to the Depot Stree brewery in Jonesborough. It's litterally a barn with brewing silos and some taps inside for filling growlers, there is nothing else sold there, but they make pretty good stuff for a very reasonable price!
After filling up we went to Scratch Pizza, which is a very unique pizza shop. It's an independantly owned and operated place run by hippies! The pizza is wood fire baked, toppings are free, crust is all one size, there are 3 sauces to choose from including a green curry base, and they have this option called Trust, where they just design a loaded pizza for you. This place is deff on my top list of places to eat!
