Despite our crazy schedules, Khine and I finally got a chance to go on a vacation together. We flew into Vegas, rented a car, and drove straight out to the south rim of the Grand Canyon at the national park. Its about a 4 hour drive but if youre new to the area, theres a lot of neat sites in the desert. Once there it was nothing short of amazing, no picture can capture how breath taking the canyon is. We walked quite a bit, saw some exhibits, and visited a museum showcasing ruins of native american indians.
Next we headed back to Vegas, but on the way we visited the Hoover dam, and that isnt too shabby either. In Vegas we stayed on Fremont St, walked the strip, went to the Atomic Testing Museum, saw a Celene Dion show, waited in a 1.5 hour line at the worlds largest Buffet, and lost some money playing roulette. And before you know it, the trip was over, but it sure was fun!
