Finally, A new city for work. I've been going to Detroit quite a bit, but this time I got to go to St Louis. It's a pretty nice place, but many of the
down town sections seem sort of sketchy, I don't think I'd walk around after dark. Anyways. Of course I had to see the arch, so I went down to the
riverfront and did the whole tourist thing. Saw the old cobble stone roads, the Arch, and the Museum of the Old West. As for the Arch, I've always seen
it in pictures, so I wasn't expecting to be too amazed when there, but actually it was quite cool. It really is pretty impressive in person. So much bigger
than I thought. In fact, to get to the top, you have to take this little train. It has 8 cars and runs every 15 min. It's so weird, since the structure curves,
in order to keep you up right the whole time, these train cars have to keep re-adjusting angles, so the ride up, which is also in complete darkness, is
quite an experience.
