This was actually technically my second time to Chicago, but the first time hardly counted. Then I was only there one day, it was for work so quick that I flew in, worked, and flew out, all in the same day, so no time to see anything. This time, however, I was here a whole week and a co-worker from my hiring class lives there now, so I had a tour guide as well! We went atop his apartment building's roof, took a bus downtown, saw Millenium Park, and even got a swank drink at the top of the John Hancock Tower (in this instance, by swank I mean pricey, it was a 10 dollar bottle of Sam Adams).
