Loveless Cafe

Apparently this is the best place in Nashville to get good old fashioned country cooking. Khine heard about it from the food network tv show, Throwdown with Bobby Flay. Since we hadn't really been to any places indigenous to Nashville we thought we'd give this place a try. It's actually pretty neat. The place is sort of like a small campus in that the cafe is surrounded by a bunch of little shops selling artsy crafts and paintings. There's a smoke house where they do their own ham and jerky smokin. And there's a market where the Loveless cafe sells it's jelly, pork, biscuits, gifts, etc.
After waiting an hour our pager finally went off and we were seated. The food really is as good as grandma's cooking. You can order a-le-cart, or if you are in a group of at least 4, you can order family style where they just keep bringing out the entries in big bowls.
