July Power Outage
July 5, 2012 8:54 AM

Khine was out on call for rotations, I had just completed job-work, and was ready to get some serious work done on my robots. It was about 3 in the afternoon, pretty nice out, and suddenly a storm started rolling in, nothing major, this is quite common. Well the winds started picking up really quickly. In only 5 min, the wind was so strong that I was getting scared even in my basement. I was watching out my rear basement screen door and trees in my woods were falling left and right! The wind was almost like a tornado in strength. Before I know it, the power goes out. Then a min later I hear a massive tree fall.
After about 30min later when the storm passes, the power is still out. About 2 hours later I decide to explore and see if I can find the source of the outage. Not 2 blocks away I found the reason! 4 trees on the main road were down, all falling onto the lines! Guess I won't be getting power for a while. I decided to go look at generators, so when this happens again, I will be ready next time! - - It finally came back on just after mid night, a little over 9 hours later.
