I had some work to do at the Naval Base in Naples, Italy. While there I got to do a little site seeing on the weekend. It was a very stressful trip due to the long work hours, high pick-pocket rates, language barrier, and nearly-non-existent traffic laws. And when ever you venture out of the city limits, the locals stare at you like you just killed a man, its very unsettling. But the views are spectacular, the history is intense, and the architecture is beautiful. I also was fortunate enough to find a guide who took me to some neat spots at night that I probably would never have dared to go! | |
