 | Went to Houston Texas for a brief 2 day weekend trip. Got to see the oldest craft brewery in Tx, St. Arnold, amazing place, highly recommend it, and a little lesser known one, 8th Wonder. Next was the NASA space center. They had some pretty neat stuff, the space vehicle mock up facility was the coolest, but given the $20 ticket I would like to have seen a little more. Finally was a walk on the Kemah Boardwalk. |  |

I recently got a second speedlite and a flash-umbrella kit for my camera. Here are the results of some of my experiments which include variations in position, power, combination, white balancing, and snooting. |

| I went with my friend Don and some of his co-workers to my first Anime Convention in Baltimore. It was so much fun! But there were too many people, it was difficult to get around and the lines to most forums were terrible. Still though, every night there is a rave, there is a giant game room, a dealers room, and plenty of cosplay. I may have to go again next year! |

| Got to spend 2 weeks in this hopping location for work, because of all the tourists there was lots to see and do downtown. My hotel was right in the middle of all the action, on Duval Street. This was deff one of the better sites to work! The small island of Boca Chica near Keywest was where I spent most of the time, they are constantly launching fighter jets here, so it was neat, but loud. |

| I've been here so much for work, restaurants are even starting to recognize me as a local. It's nice to be back, but I don't miss the heat! | |

Now I know why this airline is ranked so high, their food is actually edible, the crew is nice, and the bathrooms are like twice the size of normal planes. Also, a guy fell unconscious so they had to ask if there were any doctors on board.

Now this is ramen! Trying to get back to Okinawa for work, I got stuck in Korea due to some flight cancellations, so I did some exploring in the massive Incheon airport.

My first time to an Anime Convention, went with some friends to the second largest in the US, Otakon. It was a blast, so much to see and do, I am deff going next time.
